Tell me,dear reader what will you do if you have an ocean to talk about, but just a dropper to pick it in and show...
....presenting the option B idealism.
The name meant success, parents "inspired" success right from the cradle, built on thoughts which were binary 1=win,0=Lose,
1=joy,0=sorrow.
The "1" in this generation.
The name dangled on in everyone's household, the crown jewel of the school,The dream icon in coaching, the perfect student , the perfect professional, the alpha human...
I,the Ignorant, the Inceptionist, took a mental hack into "1's" memory lane...
Little beady eyes looked at mother,
she cared not to bother,
her fingers-stroking the ebony keys,
Hoping the Mozart was a brain building lullaby.
Little beady eyes, now began to totter,
but the joy of a free run did shatter,
ambitious, affectionate,the doting father...
perches him on the shoulder,
A
B
C...
Beady eyes in UKG...
A pleasing sight for all to see...
Dressed in white,spotlessly...
shoes polished-perfectly...
scrawny A's rewritten -meticulously..
beady worked endlessly.
Beady grew to Steady..
steady first of STD 1,2,3...
the Principal's adored baby..
The teacher's ecstasy...
Perfection in a being, embodied..
Steady he grew,not ready...
for childhood in his mind I did not see..
for rather than bubbles, toys and balloons his mind
looked more like an NH with milestones and destiny..
oh poor,poor Steady
he barely knew the journey...
Steady became Heady...
a neck strengthened by the 5kg
of medals worn for the world to see..
he climbed Everests like crazy,
parents urged on ,quite greedy
now rich,respected and busy,
the alpha of the society..
Onward as i read his memory,
further the saga of victory led
until
a blank wall encountered me...
in the last chapters of his
glittery
triumphant
respected life,
Steady heady became Needy...
Needy's thoughts changed abruptly,
I saw Sahara after the tropical spree..
the "Rub Al Khali", a dead sea...
needy had just started to think..
On the blank wall Needy wrote,
in his mind a message to many...
Lines from the Valluvar masterpiece,
Thirukural...
He who strives void of joy in the heart,
peace in the soul,
and contentment in life,
May many things have gained, but nothing real...
so well option B's,the guys who think success is their fate, their greater destiny, their mission and vision,
the guys whose fate binds them to ambition, and the "hopeless" losers who believe it is fate which has tagged them this miserable NO ENTRY into Steady's world,
I the ignorant, the inceptionist urge you to kindly reconsider...
Perhaps as a till 3am philosophical discussion with one of my hostelmate concluded,
maybe that's not exactly what you want to be -living a life just as milestones and destinations...
We need to strike a balance between our ambitions and desires..
we the gen next need to refocus our perspectives...
we need to unglue ourselves from fate,
and live life like a journey, not a destination trip...
....i am......i am ...getting....carrrrieeed....awwaa..a...a....a..y!
Having said this, dear reader,do i look like a philosopher or a sanyasi to you?
No, I am just your friendly neighbourhood JRV
So my philosophy friends beware,Option 3 is coming right at you,
Hard,
Hot,
Hand tossed,
And delivered right @ your PC's,
L8TR...
Yours truly,
JRV
Sometimes when i shut my eyes and think, my rumbling mind goes into a reverse ramble, thoughts come across-scrambled... and yet gems like these shine out from the rest, like rubies hidden in spotless beaches of arabia, I pick up one and think... I sit and think and think...

Fate is a powerful adhesive...Part II
Okay back from tests and back to life.
Dear Reader, last time i left cyberspace by giving you a question.
Before scrolling down, seriously go back to the question and get your option in your mind
before we indulge in some serious discussion.
Today lets attempt to find whether option A makes you a crorepati.
Analysing the mind of an option A
Pursuit of knowledge...
...A great philosopher once appeared in my dream(MY DREAM COPYRIGHTED).The setting was as conducive as it gets to philosophical inspiration,
...tranquil lake, moonlit night and the clear band of the milky way presiding like the eye of God above our village skies; where the air is still virgin untouched by the intoxication of streetlamps, neon lights or vehicle fumes...
...this great Philosopher was standing on Indian soil, and I still maintain I have no idea why we were there @ the exact place @ the exact time.GK books sporting his Photo must be ashamed of themselves because the Greeks didn't have cameras,or maybe because in my mind this man i met was way way far from resemblance to a serious know-it-all philosopher.
he was ghostly,a bare remnant of the text book plump boy.
and he was talking to himself as i approached him...
the object of his ridicule,my third person was a sanyasi ,offering water to his ancestors, his lean but masculine yogic body, drenched surprisingly with sweat on this chilling night.A dog was lapping up the water nearby.
"What idiots does this world produce? That man is really unnerving. The same scooping of water and pouring it down countless times"
Sir but are you really from here...
Perhaps not, but don't talk irrelevancy,i am trying to learn.
Learn ?
By his odd looks i wondered weather he was a madman escapee from the village hospital...
yeah, right so what do you want...
Listen Son,i am a mokshatma, a wandering soul.Years ago I transcended the barriers of the human body in my quest for knowledge, and yet there is some figment of left in me which separates me from the Sublime. It is in this quest that i have roamed far and wide, studied for ages the divine texts and languages to realise my existence...
I know its stupid to read horror stories before bedtime, but hey i am not the kinda guy to be scared of ghosts. However there was something extraordinary about that man.The moonlight seemed to sit lightly around him, reflecting electric blue vapors effusing from his cloudy figure...
i stood still transfixed,
Spirit?Madman?
Spirit?
Spirit?...
...fear not my dear child, for of this discourse you shall be benefited.
I fear I have not much time left before the thirteenth hour strikes, and my salvation is complete, and that weird man there is the very person i am supposed to meet,
So why don't you head over to him?
Because I Am,and he Is.
Pardon???
Child, the man there is my disciple. Before my death he made me promise that I would give him a vision of myself and guide him toward his goal...the only promise i regret in my life.He has ever since
done extensive studies, followed rigorous penance but never reached the truth...I was there beside him all the while, but he cant see me.i Am the water he pours ,and the dog who laps it up.He is a student, knowledgeable but ignorant...
Ignorant?
My responses were uni verbal as i stood awed in front of someone, whose aura of greatness seemed to transfix me on the spot.
Then he uttered these very lines...
Knowledge for its own sake is fruitless...
Much like a nest built for no bird...
The scene seemed to vanish but this thought remained in my heart....OPTION A
To all those who study to study...
To all those who waste countless research papers on how to prevent deforestation....
To all those who think being smart is existence...
And to admit ignorance is a shame,
Reconsider the persevering Sanyasi's FATE...
Often this is the same fate that binds many of us into depression, the adhesive to inferiority complexes and sometimes like in the case of the learned, the last bond to be broken before we get to taste true liberation of our spirit....
Knowledge for its own sake is fruitless...
Much like a nest built for no bird...

Fate is a powerful adhesive... PART 1
OK so this is my first post,so lets hope it would be good.
FATE
First Attempt To Explain...
why some habits die hard...
why some people reappear when you most wanted them...
why others appear when you'd least expect...
why sometimes life puts you in bad corners...
and why we think it was all His Grand Idea
why o why do I sound like Confucus quite confused...
well,
Just my attempt...
FATE
Imagine a world where everything is mathematically pre-determined,some Ultra Supercomputer kind of thing!with a million live users on its server.
imagine it like Orkut.
You could read scraps of everyone's alphas and omegas
imagine it like Twitter
150 word updates on the next thing you are going to do...
imagine it like the BSNL directory,
open 6/6/2066 and see if you will die!!!
or which 13th Fridays are going to be bad for you!!!
imagine the hell of an algorithm in your most personal life
imagine...
Reader, I might know only about 1235.66 of the 6 billion homo sapiens on earth, but i know what You are thinking...
I Quit.
and reappear in REALITY.
sometimes the most blessed gift of life is its Unpredictability. It is the colour of life that runs through our souls. It is what makes a mother nurture her baby so tenderly.( :-)) she doesn't know the child's expiry date) it is what makes my father, mother and brother treasures in my life, and grandparents, well maybe vintage cars.It is what makes lasting friendships, soaring enterprises and a lifetime of experiences worth recollecting.
hence proved:Ignorance is Bliss.
Now why am i rambling about these not so worthy thoughts?
maybe because i am putting you on the Kaun Banega Crorepati question of life...
what is at the heart of our existence through the 4th D called time
a.)pursuit of knowledge?
b.)pursuit of societal success,my dear Buji's
c.)oooom shanti shanti shanti I am a saint, the world is too small to hold me.
d.)i don't know and i don't care!!!
"ek crore ka bumper question, kaccha kaccha pucca pucca?"
now maybe we should think of hacking future computers..
or maybe YOU should wait till my next post...
L8TR,
